INDUS Road & Bridge
Equal Opportunity Employer

HISTORY

INDUS Road & Bridge was founded in February 2013 in Dallas, TX by entrepreneurs Berry Assefa and Amjad Jaber, with the spirit of being the most trusted subcontractor for multinational heavy civil general contractors. This need was key to satisfy for the emerging Design & Build projects that Texas Department of Transportation started tendering during the mid-2000s, in which the schedule, milestones and aggressive budgets were the main characteristics of these projects.

Under this environment, INDUS Road & Bridge built its reputation by delivering quality work under budget and on time, which contributed importantly to the following story of successful projects:

2013 - BREAKING GROUNDS

INDUS Road & Bridge is founded in February 2013, and its first work is a bridge footing worth $120,000 at the LBJ Express project in Dallas, TX, a $3.5 billion dollar investment in North Dallas.

2014 - STRAIGHT TO THE BIG LEAGUES

One year later, INDUS Road & Bridge is building mass placement columns, installing precast caps, setting 32 precast beams per night and pouring decks with 2 bidwells.

2015 - MOST VALUABLE SUBCONTRACTOR

LBJ Express recognizes INDUS Road & Bridge as the most valuable subcontractor.

2016 - ROADS FOR NORTH TEXAS

New projects come in Amarillo, Rockwall and Tyler, TX, as well as another $1.5 billion Design & Build project in I35E expansion from North Dallas to Denton, TX, with AGL Constructors (Archer Western – Granite – Lane), three big players in the US construction business.

2017 - MORE TEXAS TOLL ROADS AND A TASTE OF THE SOUTH EAST

We started operations in Charlotte, NC, for the I-77 Hot Lanes project. Our first project outside Texas, to prove our capacity of keeping our philosophy outside our comfort zone. We finish I35E project after building most part of the Lake Lewisville Bridge decks, several other structures and walls, and long-term relationships with the team involved in the project. Lane and JD Abrams awarded us more bridges to build at SH360 Express, another Design & Build tollway across the Texas Prairies. Last, another major improvement in Dallas, TX, requires our participation: US-175. Twelve bridges in several phases will keep us busy for the following years.

2018 - EXPAND OUR BACKYARD AND BEYOND

New projects starting in San Antonio and Houston areas, being part of the US281 reconstruction in San Antonio, TX and SH288 project in Pasadena, TX. as well as three projects for the cities of McKinney, Richardson and Coppell. Besides the continuous growth in North Carolina's project, we also start operations in Fairfax, VA, for a $2.5 billion project and 27 miles project at I-66. We started 2016 as a localized company for DFW area, and 2 years after we are working at all main Texas economic centers plus 2 new states.

2019 - CONSOLIDATE OUR EXPANSION OUTSIDE DFW

The major activity is performed in Central Texas, Houston and Fairfax, VA, consolidating our project management under different environments and with multiple actors.
